An opioid analgesic, morphine sulfate oral solution 100 mg per 5 mL (20 mg/mL), is prescribed to treat moderate to severe acute and chronic pain in opioid patients. It’s a liquid form of morphine, a drug often used as a pain killer. In small doses, we prescribe Oramorph for the relief of long term or chronic breathlessness .
